Sessions

FIGURE DRAWING SESSIONS

OTL hosts weekly three-hour figure-drawing sessions with a live model, starting out with quick 30-second gestural poses and gradually increasing to 20 to 30 minute positions. We choose professional nude models from the Chicago area, with the occasional minimally clothed students or campus ballerinas. Various drawing supplies including colored media will be provided. Feel free to bring your own sketchbook or drawing pad, or purchase one from us [see below]. The session is not instructed, but feel free to request feedback from any of the directors. You can also receive feedback at one of our quarterly art critiques.

All are welcome. Events are free for University of Chicago undergrads, $2.00 for University of Chicago grad students, and $10.00 for those not affiliated with the University.
