Hello everyone! We will be starting our winter figure drawing sessions next week on 1-14. We’ve moved to hosting on Thursdays, but at the same time and location, that is the David and Reva Logan Center for the Arts from 7:00-9:30 pm.
Undergraduates come for free, and there will be a suggested donation of $2 for grads/university affiliates and $5 for community members. All supplies will be provided!
Attached is the schedule. Blue dates are male models and pink female. See you all soon!
Hello hello hello! Long time no post. Hope that everyone had fantastic summers and that the shift to autumn brings lots of pumpkin (but no PSLs!! pls), Halloween, and pretty scenery.
So once again we come to a new school year. To everyone coming back, welcome back (get ready for those psets/essays/both if you’re lucky) and to everyone who have just found out about us, welcome! We’ll be keeping it the same old figure drawing sessions though, back in Logan room 802 from 7:00-9:30 pm on the following Tuesdays:
✧✧10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3✧✧
✧✧11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/1✧✧
Supplies will be provided! Snacks will also be provided! The only thing that’s not provided is well…you! So mark your calendars and come on over! Undergraduates come for free, grad students/university affiliates will be charged $2 and community members $5 to help keep up our supply stock.
One of our middle sessions will most likely be a clothed and costumed event. We will also be hosting events in conjunction with Kitchen Sink and SHoP (Southside Hub of Production) and will announce these special events as they come into view.
We are super stoked to see you all in a week! Until then!
We hope you are having the loveliest beginning to your spring quarter. Now that everybody is more or less settled in the sun we’re ready to start up our weekly figure drawing sessions, and we hope you’ll join us.
The spring is our favorite quarter to draw! As the warmer weather arrives we tend to host at least one outdoor figure drawing event, typically during week 5 or 6. We also like to partner with the folks at FOTA to do another special figure drawing event during the week long arts festival on campus! Stay tuned for both events, plus any others!
We’re meeting in the same place, at the same time- that’s at the Logan Center, room 802, from 7 to 9:30 PM on Tuesday evenings (please see OTL’s facebook page for a full schedule for the quarter.)
As always, drawing supplies are free of charge, as are drawing boards and paper. The sessions are informal and you can come and go as you like. For Undergraduates these sessions are free, and for other parties we do ask a small fee:
Graduate students / University affiliates — $2.00 / session
Community members — $5.00 / session
this is to ensure that we can continue to replenish the supplies as they run out! You can pay as you go per session or up front for all of the sessions you plan to attend.
Hoping to see you on Tuesday evenings!
*light blue dates indicate a female model; darker blue is a male model.
Happy New year from Outside the Lines.
Our Winter quarter figure drawing schedule is officially up and running.
Not included here are 1-2 special events, coordination for which is still in the works.
Anticipate the Week 6 course to be a bit different — we will host a costumed figure drawing session, with a crowd-favorite female model. Please see the attached PDF with a list of all dates, times, and model information.
